Following the roll-out of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for all the new Nexus devices earlier this week, the source code of the latest KOT49H build has also been released for users of the Android Open Source Project, or AOSP, on Wednesday.
In addition to the KOT49H source code, factory images of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat for the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Nexus 7 (2013), and Nexus 10 have also been made available. Nexus devices typically get new versions of the Android operating system before other smartphones or tablets. Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) also provides full factory images of Nexus devices for downloading and flashing.
