Apple's iPad overtaken by Android's Nexus and Galaxy in the battle of the tablets

Android tablets are now turning more revenue than iPhone based tablets according to latest figures.

Tablets which run the Android operating system include the like the Google Nexus and Samsung Galaxy have finally overtaken iOS tablets in the last financial quarter.

Global financial services expert at Morgan Stanley’s Katy Huberty said in a research note that for the first time Android tablets earned 46.2% of the revenue share for Q3 2013, beating the Apple revenue share of 45.6%.
