Sony Xperia Z users are in for a special treat as they enjoy the privilege of experiencing Android 4.4 KitKat on their devices, thanks to the release of CyanogenMod 11 ROM by XDA Recognised Developer, FXP. The new custom firmware brings the latest features and apps to Xperia Z, despite Sony delaying its official Android 4.4 release until February/March in 2014.
The Android 4.4 CyanogenMod 11 ROM is based on the original Android Open Source Project (AOSP), which introduces a whole new range of exciting features including faster multitasking, enhanced Google Now, immersive mode and smarter Caller ID.
