The Android 4.4 KitKat rollout onto non-Nexus devices will soon resume as invitations to participate in the system's soak test for the AT&T Moto X went out to members of the Motorola Feedback Network on Wednesday; the soak test is expected to begin on Friday.
Motorola appears to be committed to speedy rollout of Android 4.4 on its Moto X, and several other Motorola devices. The Verizon Moto X began to update to Android 4.4 on Tuesday after news of its soak test surfaced on Monday. With such a timeline, many expect the AT&T Moto X will officially update to Android 4.4 within a few days. Sources have told Droid Life the official update should roll out during the first week of December, which is a little more than a week away.
