CES pre-announcements started in earnest this week with Acer debuting two tablets before the show. Samsung has new Android cameras and maybe a more appealing design for its Galaxy S 5. Pandora lovers can now use the app as an alarm clock
It’s the weekend before the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show and I can’t ever remember more products being announced in this last run-up before the show. Take Acer’s news just on Friday, for example: The company introduced two new Android tablets that will be shown off at the show, but we already know what to expect.
Both are relatively low-cost slates, with the A1-830 costing $149 with the B1-720 priced at $129. (Really Acer? How about a New Year’s Resolution on better product names!)
