HTC Flyer, the first and only Android 2.4 tablet on the market is now finally available for pre-order at Best Buy. The tablet will however only ship somewhere between May 22 and 27, with a price tag of $499.

The HTC Flyer, also known as the HTC Evo View 4G, essentially runs a modified version of the Android Gingerbread, and HTC has promised that an upgrade to Android 3.0 Honeycomb isn't far off.
One of the key features of the tablet is its stylus support, utilizing a technology called HTC Scribe. Other specs include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n network, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP capability, 1024 x 600 resolution, 16GB internal memory plus microSDHC card slot and a front-facing 1.3-megapixel autofocus camera.
The HTC Flyer will rival other 7-inch tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab and BlackBerry PlayBook.
